Abstract

The purposes of the Fayetteville State University Green Procurement from Local Sources project are: (1) to identify environmentally preferable products/product lines from local sources; (2) to produce training manuals for Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force base that emphasize the positive outcomes of using locally environmentally preferable products including the reduction in the use of potentially hazardous materials; an increase in military effectiveness and a reduction in military expenditures.
